Turbon metal spinners are based at Coorparoo, 5 minutes South of the Brisbane city heart and  occupy over 1200 square metres of factory space.
We employ an average of 30 staff, many of whom have been long term employees and are skilled tradesman and metal spinners.  We have been established since 1959 and pride ourselves on the collective experience of our trade.             (What's News)

The skills of yesteryear never cease to amaze us!

These finials which are on the top of the old Queensland museum were originally made in the late 1890's from over 30 hand raised and soldered sections of zinc.

With the building undergoing some restoration work we were asked to  replicate these parts. Still using pure zinc material to retain authenticity , we replicated the finished sections in 10 pieces of metal spun and soldered zinc.
